How to Add Social Media Links to the Header

Aurora displays social media icons in the header using the URLs you enter under Socials & Contact. There is no separate header social setting. The same links used site-wide appear in the header automatically on layouts that support them.

Step 1: Enter Your Social URLs

Go to Appearance → Customize.
Open Socials & Contact.
Enter the full URL for each social profile you want to display.
Click Publish.

Aurora supports nine platforms: Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, and WhatsApp. Only platforms with a URL entered will show an icon.

Step 2: Check Your Header Layout

Social icons appear in the header on layouts that include an icon area. Seven of the eight header layouts display social icons: Apex, Detailed, Elegant, Overlay, Thin, Upright, and Vanilla. The Default layout does not show social icons in the header. If icons are not appearing on a supporting layout, check that you have entered at least one social URL.
