Aurora’s footer includes a slim bottom bar that runs across the full width of the page beneath the main footer content. You can assign a menu to this bar for links like your privacy policy, terms of use, or copyright notice.

How to Set It Up

  1. Go to Appearance → Menus.
  2. Create a new menu or select an existing one.
  3. Add the links you want in the bottom bar: policy pages, legal links, or any short list of items.
  4. Under Menu Settings → Display location, check Footer Bottom Menu.
  5. Click Save Menu.

Where It Appears

The footer bottom bar sits below the main footer columns. It is visible on all footer layouts that include a bottom strip. The links appear inline, typically alongside your copyright text.

Tips

  • Keep this menu short. Three to five links works best in the narrow bottom strip.
  • This location is separate from the three footer column menus (Footer Menu 1, 2, and 3). Each is independently assigned.
  • If no menu is assigned to this location, the bottom bar still renders but shows only your site’s copyright text.
